Adam Spaulding, MPA, serves as the Solid Waste & Recycling Manager for the City of Paso Robles since April 2023 and has held various roles in sustainability and environmental resource planning since 2015. Notable positions include Sustainability Consultant at SWMS International and Environmental Resource Planner for the City of Salinas. Adam's expertise encompasses increasing interdepartmental collaboration, transitioning services to digital platforms, securing grant funding for program development, and enhancing community outreach. Significant experience includes managing operations at Quincy Recycle, where Adam led substantial growth and facility upgrades, and developing the first sustainable residential recycling initiative in Panamá while at ANCON. Adam holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California and dual bachelor's degrees in Environmental Studies and English from Florida State University and Indiana University Bloomington, respectively.
