Carrie Svendsen, MSHR, PHR, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Carrie started their career in 1987 at The Swanson Corporation, where they served as a Payroll Manager for almost two decades. In 2006, they joined Treat America Food Services as a Payroll Manager and later became the Regional Human Resource Manager for the Northern Region, responsible for managing multiple states. In 2010, Svendsen moved to the City of Papillion, initially serving as a Human Resource Specialist and eventually becoming the Human Resources Manager and Director. Carrie'scurrent position is Secretary Chief Examiner at the Papillion Civil Service Commission. Throughout their career, Svendsen has gained expertise in various HR functions, including payroll management and human resources administration.

Carrie began their education at Metropolitan Community College from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a General Studies Transfer Degree. Carrie then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management from Bellevue University, which they completed in 2014. Continuing their education, Carrie went on to obtain a Master's degree in Human Resource Strategic Management from Bellevue University in 2018.
