Tyler Hunt is an experienced professional in facilities management and sustainability, currently serving as the Manager of Facilities Capital at the City of Orillia since June 2020, following a role as Superintendent of Property & Assets. Prior experience includes Sustainable Operations Supervisor for the County of Simcoe and Project Manager at Steenhof Building Services Group, where Tyler managed solar PV projects and building retrofits. Tyler also worked as a Project Coordinator at the Sustainability Office of the University of Toronto, overseeing sustainability programs and strategic plans, and contributed to solar program development at Our Power and Toronto Renewable Energy Cooperative. Academic credentials include a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering Technology from the University of Toronto, along with a Master’s degree in Geography and Environmental Studies and an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the same institution and the University of Waterloo respectively.
