Jessica Deakyne currently serves as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Novato, a position held since September 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant to the City Manager for the City of St. Helena for a brief period in 2019 and holding multiple roles within the City of Novato from 2014 to 2019, including Senior Management Analyst for Economic Development and Management Analyst II and I. Jessica also worked as a Program Analyst II at SolTrans and held various positions at the Orange County Transportation Authority, including Community Transportation Coordinator. In addition to professional roles, Jessica contributed to the Young Professionals in Transportation as Chair and has been involved in several community organizations such as the Orange Chamber of Commerce and KUCI 88.9fm. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Public Administration from California State University-Fullerton and a BA in Social Ecology from UC Irvine.
