Matt Harden is a seasoned law enforcement professional currently serving as a Narcotics K9 Handler in the Special Operations unit for the City of North Myrtle Beach since July 2021. In this role, Matt oversees K9 Teams focused on drug and explosives detection, as well as tracking fugitives and missing persons, ensuring compliance with rigorous training standards. Previously, Matt served as a Field Training Officer, guiding police recruits through their training. Prior experience includes roles as a UAV/UAS Remote Pilot with the Horry County Sheriff's Office and as a member of the Emergency Response Team at Advanced Protection Services, LLC, where responsibilities included leadership positions as Corporal and Lance Corporal. Matt is a graduate of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy.
