Devine Johnson is a seasoned military and civilian leader with extensive experience in strategic planning, operations management, and workforce development. Currently serving as a HoH Cohort 24-2 Fellow (Military Affairs Liaison) for the City of Norfolk, VA, Johnson provides counsel to city leadership and fosters partnerships through collaboration with various stakeholders. A retired Chief of Staff from the US Navy, Johnson coordinated support for a significant operational fleet, managing thousands of military and civilian personnel. Previous roles include Commanding Officer and Chief Engineer, where Johnson demonstrated expertise in leading diverse teams, managing substantial budgets, and ensuring operational efficiency. Johnson holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Technology from Norfolk State University.
