Brian Casey, MPP, currently serves as the Management Services Administrator for the City of Norfolk, VA, since August 2021. Prior experience includes roles such as Chairman of the Policy Board for Chesapeake Bay A.S.A.P from September 2013 to June 2021, and serving in various capacities within the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, including Legislative Analyst and Budget Officer from February 2016 to April 2020. Previous experience also includes a position as Master Deputy Commissioner of the Revenue and Personal Property Tax Manager for the Norfolk Commissioner of the Revenue from November 2011 to October 2015, and as a Legislative Aide for the Virginia House of Delegates from 2007 to 2011. Earlier in their career, Brian Casey worked as a Career Development Specialist at So Others Might Eat and as a Marketing/Research Analyst at the Hudson Institute. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Pepperdine University, a Master of Arts in Public Policy from Regent University, and a Master Deputy Commissioner of the Revenue certification from the University of Virginia.
