Richard Reyes has extensive experience in educational leadership and public service. Currently serving as Alderman at Large for the City of New Britain since November 2017, Richard previously held the position of Commissioner on the City of New Britain Board of Finance and Taxation from November 2015 to November 2017, where duties included reviewing and adjusting the city budget. Richard's educational career spans from October 1984 to the present, including a long tenure as Principal and Assistant Principal in New Britain Public Schools, where Richard contributed to the development and administration of educational programs. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and Supervision and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Connecticut, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Central Bible College.
