Ilan Shalev, MPA, has extensive experience in emergency medical services and public safety. Currently serving as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the City of Murphy, Texas since April 2018, Ilan previously worked with the Parker Fire Department from April 2015 to December 2022 and Acadian Ambulance as a Paramedic from July 2017 to April 2018. Early career roles included EMT with Wylie EMS/ETMC from August 2014 to July 2017, Site Manager for the Security Reconnaissance Team from November 2012 to June 2014, Intern for the U.S. House of Representatives in early 2012, and Petty Officer 3rd Class in the U.S. Coast Guard from September 2002 to January 2007. Ilan holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Government from Texas Woman's University.
