Nadine Medawar has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. Nadine is currently serving as the Director of Arts, Sports, Activities, Parks, and Social Development at Ville de Montréal. In this role, they oversee multiple divisions and manages emergency responses across the territory. Nadine is also a member of the executive management team of the borough.

Prior to their current position, Nadine worked as the Executive Director at Regroupement québécois de la danse. Nadine held this role from 2021 to 2023. Before that, they worked as a Consultant for cultural organizations and startups from 2020 to 2021.

Nadine has also served as the Head of Governor in Council and Ministerial Appointments & Policy Advisor at the Office of the Minister of Heritage Canada - Patrimoine Canada from 2018 to 2020. Before that, they worked at the House of Commons of Canada Chambre des communes du Canada, where they held the positions of Senior Advisor, Quebec, and Senior Advisor, French Communications.

In 2015, Nadine ran as an Official Team Trudeau Candidate for Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie in the Federal Elections. Nadine developed a grass-roots approach to build support for the Liberal Party of Canada and significantly increased their electorate in a historically separatist riding.

In addition to their professional work, Nadine has a background in music. Nadine founded True Music Inc. in 2007 and worked as a Recording Artist and Songwriter under Archambault Music from 2009 to 2014. Nadine also had a role in content development and result analysis at Génération d'Idées from 2010 to 2012.

Furthermore, Nadine co-founded a humanitarian aid charitable organization called Hope Without Borders in 2002. Nadine had responsibilities in fundraising, speech presentations, awareness building, and advising local social projects on organizational development. Notable achievements include financing the construction of a shelter for abused women and children in Lebanon and supporting orphanages and educational fees for orphans in Tanzania.

Overall, Nadine Medawar has extensive experience in various leadership, consulting, and public service roles, as well as a background in music and humanitarian aid.

Nadine Medawar completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Strategic Management and International Business from McGill University from 2000 to 2003. Nadine then pursued a Master's Degree in Conflict Studies at Saint Paul University from 2014 to 2019. In addition to their business and conflict studies background, Nadine also obtained 9 years of classical music training with a specialization in piano from Pierre Laporte et Conservatoire Vincent-D’Indy between 1993 and 2002. Recently, in 2021, they received training in Deep Diversity from Anima Leadership, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion in organizations.
