Andrew Dykes serves as Fire Chief for the City of Monroe, Georgia, bringing extensive experience in fire service that spans over 15 years. Beginning as a Firefighter at the City of Monroe Fire Department in 2002, Andrew advanced through various roles, including Firefighter/Paramedic at Barrow County Fire & Emergency Services and Firefighter at Walton County Fire Rescue. Andrew has also contributed as adjunct faculty at Georgia Piedmont Technical College and Athens Technical College. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Valdosta State University and a Master of Science in Emergency Management from Jacksonville State University, alongside credentials from the National Fire Academy and various degrees focused on fire science and emergency care.
