Zoe Thiel

Manager, Small Business Team at City of Minneapolis

Zoe Thiel has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Zoe started their career in 2006 as a Teacher at Teach For America and worked there until 2009. In 2008, they briefly joined the Minnesota DFL Party as a Field Organizer/Field Coordinator/Legal Team member. Zoe then moved on to the City of Minneapolis in 2010 as a Management Analyst, and in 2011, they joined Minneapolis Public Schools as a Strategic Planning Coordinator. In 2015, Zoe returned to the City of Minneapolis, where they served as a Program Manager for the Innovation Team until 2018. From 2018 onwards, they held the position of Manager for the Small Business Team at the City of Minneapolis.

Zoe Thiel attended Loyola University Chicago, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Economics. Following this, they attended the Humphrey School of Public Affairs from 2009 to 2011, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
