Jessica Almanza is an accomplished civil engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles within municipal and engineering organizations. Currently serving as an Assistant Engineer at the City of Milpitas since November 2021, Jessica previously worked as a Design Engineer and Engineering Assistant at BKF Engineers from October 2016 to November 2021. Early career experiences include an internship in the Transportation Department at the City of Menlo Park, where responsibilities encompassed traffic data collection and grant procurement, as well as acting as the TSM Coordinator. Additional roles include tutoring at One Step a La Vez and canvassing for the Central Coast Alliance for a Sustainable Environment. Jessica holds a Masterā€™s Degree in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
