Jazmin Bustos is a City Planner currently employed by the City of Merriam, Kansas, since June 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Community Planning Intern for the City of North Kansas City from February 2023 to June 2023 and for Hoxie Collective from May 2022 to January 2023. Jazmin also worked as a Library Assistant at Olathe Public Library from 2018 to January 2020, where responsibilities included aiding librarians and assisting customers with library operations. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (2020-2023), a Minor in Environmental Sustainability from the same institution (2020-2022), and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Johnston Community College (2017-2019).
