Doreen Mattes, SPHR, currently serves as the Membership Engagement Director for Arkansas SHRM since January 2023 and as the Director of Human Resources for the City of Maumelle, Arkansas, since December 2020. With extensive experience in human resources, Doreen has held key roles including Vice President of Membership for the Central Arkansas Human Resources Association since December 2019 and Instructor/Facilitator at HRReview, LLC since January 2016, focusing on HR certification courses. Previously, Doreen worked in various capacities at the City of Little Rock and held positions at Practice Plus, Wilson & Associates, and Superior Financial Corp, showcasing a diverse background in talent acquisition, learning and development, and investor relations. Doreen holds two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Finance and Financial Services Management and Human Resource Management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
