Laura Mott is a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at the City of Mason City since March 2022. Prior to this role, Laura worked as a Restoration Technician at Resource Environmental Solutions LLC and as a Biological Science Technician at Iowa State University, collaborating with the Department of Natural Resources. Laura's early career includes internships at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, Humane Indiana Wildlife, and Dickerson Park Zoo, along with experience as a Microbiology Teaching Assistant at Northwest Missouri State University. Laura holds a Master's Certificate in GIS from Northwest Missouri State University and a degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the same institution.
