Steve Cooper, GISP, has extensive experience in urban planning and public administration, currently serving as the Stormwater Coordinator for the City of Marion, Iowa since September 2013. Prior to this role, Steve held the position of Infrastructure Manager at the City of Cedar Rapids from March 2001 to September 2013. Additional experience includes working as a Planner at IIW Engineers from 1999 to 2001, a Transportation Planner at TranSystems from 1994 to 1999, and a Cartographer for Jackson County, Missouri from 1993 to 1994. Steve holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy and a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration from the University of Northern Iowa, completed between 2019 and 2021, as well as a Bachelor's of Science in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Iowa State University, obtained from 1989 to 1992.
