Erik Bryz-Gornia is an experienced educator and emergency services professional with a background in both teaching and practical medical assistance. Since August 2019, Erik has served as an EMT and Medical Careers Teacher at Osseo Area Schools, focusing on essential competencies such as First Aid and Emergency Medical Technician training. Concurrently, Erik has held the position of firefighter with the City of Maple Grove since October 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Seasonal Ticket Salesperson for the Minnesota Twins and a Medical Careers Instructor at SouthWest Metro, along with experience as an EMT at Spring Lake Park Schools, where Erik provided basic life support at sporting events. Additionally, Erik has contributed as a health and medications aid at True Friends and has held teaching assistant positions in chemistry at Gustavus Adolphus College. Erik holds a Master of Public Health in Global Environmental Health from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Political Science from Gustavus Adolphus College.
