Hydee Feldstein Soto currently serves as the Los Angeles City Attorney and was a candidate for the position in 2022. With extensive legal experience, Hydee oversees a large municipal law firm while also fulfilling the role of General Counsel for the City of Los Angeles. Previously, Hydee was the VP and Interim General Counsel at Kin Community, where responsibility included managing a wide range of legal issues during a colleague's parental leave. Earlier career highlights include serving as an Equity Partner at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, recognized for excellence in Banking, Finance, and Bankruptcy, and as an Equity Partner in the Corporate Department at Paul Hastings. Hydee holds a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia University Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from Swarthmore College.
