Sarah Green is the Chief of Labor Relations for the City of Long Beach, a position held since September 2017, where responsibilities include leading labor negotiations with multiple employee organizations representing over 6,000 city employees. Previously, Sarah served as the Administrative Officer for the Long Beach Fire Department, overseeing various administrative functions and operations. Additionally, Sarah worked as a Deputy City Attorney, providing legal counsel to public safety departments. Prior military service includes the role of Judge Advocate for the US Army's 1st Infantry Division, with deployments to Iraq and experience in legal assistance. Sarah holds a Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from San Diego State University.
