Jennifer Rice Epstein is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public affairs and media relations, currently serving as the Public Affairs Officer for the City of Long Beach since March 2019. In this role, Jennifer focuses on developing and implementing communications strategies for the Health Department, including social media management, content creation for the city's webpage, and coordination of media events. Previous positions include leading the media relations team during the COVID-19 response and managing marketing and public relations for the Rancho Los Cerritos Foundation. With a background in journalism, Jennifer has also contributed to numerous publications and served as an editor and book reviewer. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from UCLA.
