Kim Loan Tran currently serves as the GIS Program Manager for the City of Livermore, overseeing citywide GIS initiatives since April 2024. Prior to this role, Kim worked at Google as a Geo Imagery Operations Subject Matter Expert through Cognizant, and as a Geo Data Specialist II from December 2022 to April 2024, where responsibilities included managing the full-cycle process and quality control of high-resolution aerial imagery for mapping products. Earlier experience includes serving as a GIS Analyst at HDR, where Kim provided technical support and GIS services across various sectors, as well as positions at Geographic Information Services, Inc. and the City of Mountain View as a GIS IT Intern. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis, and an Associate of Science in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Foothill College.
