Jasmine Billings has a diverse work experience history. Jasmine started their career as an intern at the Statesboro Conventions and Visitors Bureau in 2013, where they took on various marketing and outreach projects. Jasmine then worked for the Atlanta Hawks as a 50/50 Raffle Ticket Seller, engaging with fans and providing customer service. Following that, they joined the Georgia Aquarium as a Guest Services Sales Lead, gaining experience in customer service and managing sales associates. In 2014, they joined the College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience as a Fan Experience Coordinator, later becoming a Fan Ambassador Lead. During this time, they assisted customers with transactions, inquiries, and complaints, as well as provided knowledge about the Hall of Fame exhibits. Their most recent role is with the City of Lawrenceville, where they started as a Special Event Coordinator in 2017. Jasmine then progressed to become an Event and Programs Manager before transitioning to the role of Community Development Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Community & Economic Development.
Jasmine Billings obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a specialization in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to their graduate studies, they completed their high school education at Brookwood High School, earning a High School Diploma. Their undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Sport Management with a minor in Marketing, was obtained from Georgia Southern University. Jasmine also pursued a Master's degree in Sports Administration at Georgia State University but did not provide specific start and end years for this program.
