Andrea Howard Alexander, JD, serves as the City Clerk for the City of Lancaster since January 2020, where responsibilities include administering election procedures and assisting candidates in fulfilling legal obligations. Currently functioning as Magistrate I for the Prattville Municipal Court since June 2015, Andrea oversees various aspects of criminal proceedings and manages court documentation and finances. Previous roles include Assistant Court Administrator in Tuscaloosa and Municipal Deputy Court Clerk in Indianola, in addition to experience as a law clerk and intern, showcasing a strong background in legal practices and court administration. Andrea holds a Juris Doctorate from Miles Law School, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Mississippi, and an Associate of Arts in Political Science from Mississippi Delta Community College.
