Nicole Amaral has extensive experience in communications and graphic design, currently serving as the Manager of Creative Services and Digital Media for the City of Kitchener since February 2004. In this role, Nicole engages the public through various digital, social, and traditional mediums while overseeing marketing communication plans. Previous positions include Interim Director of Communications and project manager for internal collaboration tools, where Nicole led cross-organizational projects and engaged stakeholders. Earlier experience includes roles as a Communications & Marketing Associate, Senior Graphic Designer, and Freelance Graphic Designer, encompassing extensive work in marketing collateral, brand maintenance, and project management. Nicole holds a degree in Graphic Design from Fanshawe College and has additional experience in customer service from The Home Depot Canada.
