Matthew Grady, CPA, CFE, is an experienced audit professional currently serving as the City Auditor for the City of Killeen, Texas, since January 2017. Under Matthew's leadership, the FY 2018 audit of the Killeen Police Department's Animal Services Unit received the Exemplary Knighton Award in the extra-small office category. Previous roles include Senior Auditor for the City of Berkeley and Audit Manager for the Clark County Auditor's Office, where a submission in 2015 earned the Knighton Exemplary Award in the small office category. Matthew also served as Comptroller for the Government of American Samoa and worked with the U.S. Department of Justice in various audit roles over 20 years. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from San Jose State University.
