Alan Smith has extensive experience in law enforcement and military service. Since January 2009, Alan has worked for the City of Killeen, Texas, starting as a Police Officer with responsibilities in patrol and community safety, progressing to a Background Investigator conducting thorough candidate investigations, and currently serving as a Detective focusing on burglary and auto theft cases. Prior to this role, Alan served in the U.S. Army, first as a Training Instructor at the Air Defense Artillery Noncommissioned Officer Academy, and later as an E-8 Battery First Sergeant, overseeing the welfare and professional development of over 100 soldiers and managing significant equipment resources. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security from Trident University International.
