Garrett Oppenheim is an accomplished policy analyst and novelist with extensive experience in public policy, legal practice, and community service. Currently serving as a policy analyst for the City of Kenmore, responsibilities include researching and drafting tree ordinances and overseeing contracts related to mental health and homelessness outreach. Previous roles include assistant to the city manager, where Garrett coordinated diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility initiatives, and various legal positions, including attorney roles focused on family law, housing issues, and financial litigation. A graduate of the University of Washington with a Master of Public Administration and a Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law, Garrett's literary contributions include the novel "Hockeywood," released in 2018.
