Benjamin Whitehead, P.E. has extensive experience in civil engineering and water management, currently serving as the Water and Wastewater Operations Manager and Civil Engineer for the City of Johnson City since January 2011. Responsibilities include implementing water system management processes, conducting AWWA Water Audits, upgrading critical infrastructure, and managing utility projects. Previous roles include System Designer at Johnson Controls, where HVAC control systems were designed, and Civil Designer at Tysinger, Hampton & Partners, Inc., responsible for project management from design to construction. Benjamin began a career in civil design with ARCADIS, focusing on roadway and sidewalk projects. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
