Barkha Patel is an experienced urban planning professional who has held multiple leadership roles within the City of Jersey City since May 2016, including Director of Infrastructure, Deputy City Manager, Director of Transportation, and Transportation Planner. Prior to this, Barkha served as a Lecturer at Rutgers University's Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy from January 2016 to May 2018, teaching a Graphical Communication course to over 60 students, focusing on site planning and technical skills. Barkha holds a Master of City and Regional Planning degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, both from Rutgers University.
