Chris Hillman has extensive experience in municipal management, currently serving as City Manager for the City of Irving since August 2014. Previously, Chris held the position of City Manager in the City of Surprise from May 2011 to June 2014, where responsibilities included acting as Chief Executive Officer of the municipal corporation. Additional roles include City Manager for Clearfield City from June 2006 to May 2011, City Administrator for Eagle Mountain City from May 2002 to April 2006, and various positions in Sandy City from February 1998 to May 2002, including Assistant to the Chief Administrative Officer and Management Analyst. Chris holds a Master of Public Administration in City & Financial Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, both from Brigham Young University.
