Ted Irving is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in digital media consulting, documentary filmmaking, and broadcasting. Currently serving as the Mayoral Appointed Executive Director for Houston Television at the City of Houston Mayor's Office, Ted has been instrumental in reimagining the station and driving audience growth. Founded beingUS.tv, focusing on K12 and college media education and consulting. Previous roles include directing the Magnet Program at Yates School of Communications, freelancing in broadcast news, and contributing as a sports photographer for Fox26 Houston. Ted holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Arts from Texas Southern University, along with additional certifications in media production.
