J J Bischoff has extensive experience in public service, currently serving as the Chief of Staff in the Mayor's Office for the City of Homewood since June 2009. Prior to this role, J J Bischoff was a City Council Member from March 1995 to June 2009, where responsibilities included Chairman of Public Works and membership in the Finance and Building Committees, as well as Vice Chairman of the Board of Zoning Adjustment. In addition, J J Bischoff contributed to the Alabama League of Municipalities as a member of the Emergency Communication District 911 Study Commission in 2007. Educational qualifications include studies at Samford University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham Regional Technical Institute.
