P. Wayne Moore has a strong background in investment management and finance. P. Wayne started their career as a Financial Futures Desk Trader/Broker at Shearson Lehman Hutton in 1987, where they traded CME Eurodollar futures and CBOT Bond futures. P. Wayne then moved on to Travelers in 1989, working as an Investment Manager and credit analyst evaluating private placement deals. At Aetna Investment Group, Moore served as an Investment Officer and Sr. Strategist from 1993 to 1996. Following this, they co-founded Greystone Capital Management, Inc. in 1996, a minority-owned institutional fixed income investment manager that grew to over $600 million in assets under management. Moore also founded and served as CEO of Tychon Energy Systems LLC from 2005 to 2011, developing and financing energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Currently, they are the Deputy Chief Investment Officer at the City of Hartford, managing the city's $1.1 billion DB pension fund.
P. Wayne Moore holds an AB degree from Harvard University. P. Wayne then pursued a Certificate in Cybersecurity from Harvard Extension School between 2016 and 2018. At an unspecified time, they also attended The Wharton School, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
