Monica Jones is an experienced professional in social services and case management, currently serving as a Family Service Specialist and Housing Stabilization Case Manager for the City of Hampton since March 2019, where responsibilities include assessing clients for rapid rehousing programs and performing case management duties. Prior roles include being a Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adult for Empowerment Network, a Housing Specialist II for James City County coordinating the Virginia Homeless Solutions Program, and a Senior Case Manager for LINK of Hampton Roads, Inc. with a focus on client intake and community resource referral. Monica also has experience in grant proposal writing from tenure as an Americorps Vista/Service Coordinator for the Sickle Cell Association of the Peninsula, and early non-profit management experience with Americorps.
