Brian McMullen has extensive experience in financial planning and administration, currently serving as the Director of Financial Planning, Administration and Policy at the City of Hamilton since January 2001. Previous roles include Acting General Manager of Finance and Corporate Services and Manager of Accounting, where responsibilities encompassed annual financial reporting, municipal performance measurement, and overseeing the implementation of tangible capital assets. Prior to joining the City of Hamilton, Brian McMullen held various positions at the Regional Municipality of Hamilton-Wentworth from May 1984 to December 2000, culminating as Supervisor of Corporate Reporting and Accounting. Brian McMullen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with a focus on Finance and Accounting from McMaster University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (Certified Management Accountant).
