Jase Payne is a seasoned communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies. Currently serving as the Communications & Marketing Manager for the City of Gulfport since October 2021, Jase previously held the role of Director of Communications at Coastal Mississippi in 2021 and served as Director of Public Relations & Social Media at The Focus Group from 2019 to 2021. Jase also worked as Marketing Manager for the City of Gulfport from December 2016 to November 2019, focusing on business development and promoting key initiatives such as the Gulfport Sportsplex and Gulfport Harbor Lights Festival. Earlier in the career, Jase gained production experience as an Associate Producer with Historia Films from June 2014 to May 2016. Jase holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from The University of Southern Mississippi, earned in 2013.
