Carolyn Altan currently serves as the Head of Communications and Customer Experience at the City of Greater Dandenong since December 2023. Previously, Carolyn held notable positions at Whitehorse City Council, including Head of Strategic Communications and Customer Service, and Head of Strategic Marketing and Communication from January 2020 to July 2023. Additional experience includes managing communications and engagement at the Victorian Public Sector Commission and serving in various roles at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Vic). Carolyn's earlier career involved significant contributions in digital marketing and sales management within the travel industry and extensive roles within the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection. Carolyn holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Melbourne and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Law and Arts from Monash University.
