John Sakal is a mechanical inspector who has been working in the field for over 40 years. John started their career in 1976 as an installation manager for a family plumbing and heating business. In 1995, they became the principal owner of Sakal and Sons, Inc., a plumbing and heating contractor. John worked there for 10 years before moving to Michigan Township Services-Allegan, where they worked as a plumbing and mechanical inspector until 2015. John has been working as a mechanical inspector for the City of Grand Rapids since then.
