Ryan Kruse is an experienced Power System Engineer at Omaha Public Power District since October 2022 and has held multiple roles at the City of Grand Island, including Production Engineer and Utility Production Engineer since January 2020. Prior experience includes working as a Controls Engineer Intern at Ingersoll Rand, with a focus on implementing automation systems, and as an Electrical Engineer Intern at both Platte Generating Station and Southern Public Power District. Ryan Kruse also owned and operated RAK Electric LLC from August 2013 to January 2020 and worked as a Journeyman/Foreman at Access Electric Group as well as a Journeyman Electrician at Strategic Electric Group LLC. Academically, Ryan Kruse earned a Master of Engineering in Engineering/Industrial Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
