Benjamin McCready is an accomplished public administration professional with extensive experience in local government management. Currently serving as the Assistant City Administrator and Director of Administrative Services for the City of Geneva, Illinois since May 2018, McCready previously held roles including Assistant to the City Manager in the Town of Normal, IL, and the City of Rock Island, IL, where contributions included strategic planning, budget development, and performance analysis. McCready has also served on the Advisory Board of the Engaging Local Government Leaders Network, fostering professional growth among municipal employees. Additional experience includes management analysis at the City of Salem, OR, and project analysis at the City of Bloomington, IL. McCready holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Augustana College and a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Local Government Management from Northern Illinois University.
