Prior experience includes a role as Tax Assessor Collector in the City of Dallas from August 2006 to April 2015, where responsibilities encompassed managing the Code Compliance Revenue and Collections Division and supervising various permitting programs. Corey's background also includes a position as Property Tax Director, enhancing operational efficiencies across multiple departments, and as Tax Office Branch Manager, overseeing the highest volume branch office in Dallas County. Additionally, Corey was a Store Manager at Sherwin-Williams Paints from December 2000 to July 2006, focusing on sales growth and staff management. Corey earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff between 1994 and 1999.
