Blake W. Moorman has extensive experience in sales, marketing, and event management, currently serving as the Director of Sales & Marketing at the Fort Worth Convention Center since July 1998. In addition, Blake holds the position of Sr. Vice President at OPM, a Project & Event Management Firm, since January 2009. Between September 2017 and June 2023, Blake was the Director of Conventions for the Southwestern Region of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, where responsibilities included developing, coordinating, and implementing plans for an annual convention accommodating over 2,000 attendees. Prior to that, Blake was the Director of Conventions for the Texas Council of Alpha Chapters from May 2009 to February 2018, specializing in contract negotiations and conference planning. Earlier in the career, Blake worked as the Managing Director of Jubilee Theatre from May 1990 to July 1998. Educational qualifications include a BA in Music Theatre and Business from The University of Texas at Arlington, an AA in Music from Tarrant County College, and attendance at Texas Christian University.
