Erin Pence is a seasoned Geographic Information System Administrator currently serving the City of Erie PA since November 2023. Previously, Erin held the position of Deputy Director of Planning at Genesee County New York from February 2015 to November 2023, where contributions included driving the implementation of GIS technologies within the County. Prior experience as a GIS Analyst/Administrator involved supporting local government and non-profit organizations through GIS mapping and analysis. Erin also worked as an Environmental GIS Specialist at ERM: Environmental Resources Management, focusing on database management and project support using ESRI software. Earlier career contributions as a Benefit Information Systems Analyst at Relph Benefit Advisors included the creation and auditing of databases and training staff on technology and procedures. Erin holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
