Tony Gurnoe is a skilled professional in the field of horticulture and urban forestry, currently serving as a Research Assistant 3 at the San Diego State University Research Foundation since February 2024. As President and Lead Arborist at Treehugger Care and Consulting since September 2022, Tony has demonstrated leadership and expertise in arboriculture. Previous experience includes their role as Urban Forester 2 at Dudek from August 2023 to February 2024 and several leadership positions at San Diego Botanic Garden, including Director of Conservation Horticulture and Director of Horticulture from October 2017 to September 2022. Tony's career began in horticulture management at San Diego Botanic Garden, where the position of Horticulture Manager was held until May 2017. Educational qualifications were obtained at MiraCosta College.
