Tim Dalton is an experienced leader in community education and recreation, currently serving as Superintendent for the City of Elk River since December 2013, overseeing the Furniture and Things Community Event Center. Dalton has held various roles including Parks and Recreation Coordinator at Dave's Sports Shop, Coaching Education Coordinator for the Elk River Youth Hockey Association, and management positions within the University of Minnesota's Recreational Sports Department and the American Red Cross. With a history of increasing participation and revenues in community programs, Dalton has demonstrated a strong ability to coordinate and develop youth and recreational activities across multiple organizations, including Princeton Public Schools and Shoreview Parks & Recreation. Dalton holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, and History from St. Cloud State University, along with an Administrative Licensure in Community Education.
