Kristyn Laurence serves as the Public Affairs Manager for the City of Elk Grove since May 2013, overseeing the Public Information Division, including media communications and community events. Previously, Kristyn functioned as the Community Events & Projects Coordinator for the same city, focusing on the promotion of local businesses through event coordination. Experience includes serving on the Board of Explore Elk Grove, enhancing tourism initiatives, and managing special events as Recreation Supervisor at the Cosumnes Community Services District. Early career roles included the Learning Center Coordinator at Sacramento Natural Food Co-op, Assistant Festival Director for the Placer County Strawberry Festival, and Public Information Officer for the Elk Grove Community Services District, with initial positions in constituent affairs for California's state government. Kristyn holds a B.A. in Political Science and Public Service from the University of California, Davis.
