Melissa Scheidel currently serves as the Municipal Court Judge for the City of Dunwoody, Georgia, since June 2022, while also working as an Associate Attorney at the Haug Barron Law Group since April 2022. Additionally, Melissa has been the Owner and Attorney at Law for The Law Office of Melissa Scheidel, LLC since November 2013. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Solicitor General for the Fulton County Government from December 2003 to November 2013. Melissa holds a Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law, completed in 2003, and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Sociology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, obtained in 2000. Furthermore, in 2014, Melissa completed mediation training, earning a Certificate of Completion in General Civil Mediation.
