Jody Schulz serves as the Mayor of Duarte since December 2022, having been elected to the City Council in 2020. Additionally, Jody Schulz is the Patient Access Optimization Leader at City of Hope and an Adjunct at UC Irvine, teaching Applied Anatomy and Physiology and Clinical Data Management. Previous experience includes roles as a Healthcare Consultant at Blue Cottage of CannonDesign and Senior Manager at AccessHope, along with serving as a Patient Experience Advisor at Press Ganey, where the focus was on enhancing patient experience through quality and safety initiatives. Jody Schulz also held the position of Administrative Director at Beverly Community Hospital and managed Business and Performance Improvement at City of Hope. Jody Schulz holds a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois System and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
