Vicki Karr is an experienced public information officer currently serving at the City of DeLand since January 2023. Previously, Vicki worked at FOX 35 Orlando as a multimedia journalist and reporter from 2019 to 2022, focusing on community impacts in Volusia County. Earlier roles included serving as a multimedia journalist and reporter at KOLD News 13, where Vicki covered Southern Arizona events, and as an online news producer for Waterman Broadcasting, overseeing content for NBC-2.com and ABC-7. Vicki began their career at Gainesville Sun as a page designer and copy editor. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Florida SouthWestern State College.
